Looking forward to eharing what you guys have to say! I'm mostly curious about bait, lures and hook sizes, as that's what I seem to hear the most variation in online. Unfortunately, as you know, I've got limited tackle and rod room (Currently limited to 3 rods until I get some more money).

But I figured this would be a really neat trip. Right now my max fish weight is 13 lbs, so I may have to hold off until level 24 for some monsters. Get some baits like small cutbaits, petfood, or even cheese. I'm mostly interested in the larger stuff - Gars, Bass, Drum, Tarpon and those bigger cats. A possible setup would be a Nero 390 (lvl15) 3870 rod, a FeederForcer 6000 (lvl17) 6300, Fluoro 0.28mm 300m line (lvl17) 420, a chubby bobber 50 and some 1/0 - 3/0 hooks (150 pack of 10 ). I know this is open ended, but what kinds of tackle should I be taking there in order to make the most of my time? I'd like to try and stay for a few days to make some money back and level up, but usually my first trip to a location is a bust, and I'm saving up for a kayak and would rather not waste the money. I'm a level 20 angler looking to make my way to the Everglades for fishing here on FP for the first time. Its pretty bad whehn people are more concerned with how much $ and EXP fish will give them based on what they are using than they are about the quality of the fishing itself.I've a not-so quick question for you all. See, herein lies the main issue with this game right now: there is far too much focus on the damn economy than the fishing. That would just compleltely defeat the purpose of the game, wouldn't it? Its up to the player/angler to get all relevent info on the species he /she is after, and set up accordingly to cover a few species in that bracket. Which it shouldn't tell you exactly what to use for each species. There are balanced ones, then there are better set ups. So far, I haven't seen one go green, but then again, I'm not using underpowered setups to see which I can push the limits with, which could give me more benefits. I've experimented in some of my own and with the new changes, if my set up is too OP - even though I like to use it for its resilience and sensitivity - I'm given less XP/money than I deserve. 19 LOCATIONS Explore lake and river environments from the Florida Everglades to the banks of the Volga in Russia.
